Staff Profiles

Peter Murray:

Pete, Topline's oldest staff member, he loves going to work at the Stafford branch every day and pouncing on any telephone that happens to ring.

Pete looks after telemarketing in Stafford. A lifetime career in electronics and TV / VCR servicing sees Pete able to offer plenty of worthwhile advice in that area. Pete spends his weekends on his cruiser moored at Manly marina on Brisbanes Morton Bay.

Frank Stewart: Branch Manager

Frank is our Toowoomba branch manager. He is an ex TV technician and TV antenna installer with many years of experience in these fields. Frank is very abliging to his customers and bends over backwards to help them out - nothing is any trouble. Feel free to pop in for a cuppa and a chin wag.

Darren Wright:

Darren is our NSW Sales Manager.

On the road for many years as our NSW Rep he formed lasting friendships with all his customers. Years of experience in Satellite and FTA installations hold Darren in good stead for his FOXTEL and AUSTAR design work. CAD drawings, Bill of materials, Fibre, Hard Line you name it, for any project, large or small.

A likeable larriken, watch out for his wicked sense of humour.

John Magill: Sales Rep

John is the newest NSW representative.

Maureen Harris:

Maureen helps run our Ballarat Branch and has recently being appointed a new position in our Accounts Receivable Department looking after the accounts across the States, she has a great rapport with our customers, her friendly approach makes her one of the favourite staff members for all account and general enquires, feel free to contact Maureen with your queries.

Grant Browning:

Grant, is the latest employee in Queensland, he has taken over Tony Dorrough's run which takes in areas from south to Gympie and all towns north to Mackay and inland fom these towns to Emerald. He is an ex TV antenna installer and has many tales of his exploits in his native Bundaberg.

Paul Harris:

Paul "Blue Boy" is a Director of Topline Aerials & Cables Pty Ltd and Manager of the Ballarat Branch."Blue Boy" A one eyed Carlton supporter in winter his other sporting interests include cricket and golf.

Wayne Ambler:

Wayne (Wino to all) is one of Newcastles most experienced antenna installers. Well liked by all especially all his older customers. Has worked here ( on and off ) for probably 25 years or more.

Mike Nelson:

Mike is one of two Reps based from our Head Office in Mayfield. Loves being on the road and looks after our his customers up to and including Coffs Harbour in the North, Griffith in the SW and west to Dubbo & Parkes.

Michael Tuite:

Mick is employed at our Stafford branch. A former sparky, he has worked in the electrical industry for most of his life. He travels to the western areas of Queensland, Northern NSW, Hervey Bay and surrounds, as well as Brisbane itself. He has a great rapore with his clients, they all look forward to seeing him, especially hearing his new jokes he has on offer.

Steven Leitch:

Steven is our Storeman in Ballarat.

John Oakhill:

John is the manager of the branch at Warana on the Sunshine Coast. He has been in the electronics industry for many years with much knowledge of electronics and the antenna field. John will go out of his way to help his customers and makes sure they go away happy.

Nick Ridsdale:

Nick is our Victorian sales representative covering areas surrounding Albury, Gippsland, Bendigo, Mount Gambier and Mildura

A huge favourite with the customers as he has a dry and wicked sense of humour

And will always go out of his way to supply demands of stock required by every customer.

Jess Chandler:

Jess our newest employee, she has recently commenced employment in our Head Office in Mayfield, Jess is our main receptionist, and has a great and pleasant dissposition, she is dedicated to giving superior customer service, Jess is also presently training to assist in our Administration and Accounts Department, Welcome Jess.

Brad White:

"Whitey" is Warehouse Manager at Mayfield. Brad has been at Topline for nearly 20 years has worked in all areas from order packing to TV aerial installations through to a Sales Rep driving the big trucks throughout rural NSW. Brad has a great product knowledge and is only too willing to discuss customer requirements. Brads always been a petrol head and loves music, playing his guitar, beer, fast cars and bikes (and fast women).

Matthew Hiles:

"Matty" runs the despatch area at Head Office. An invaluable part of the team Matt is "jack of all trades" and usually is the first person that anybody looks too for help with a stock or a customer issue. He has been at Topline for more than 15 years and nobody knows the stock better than he. Matt's favourite pastime (almost) is food Doesn't matter what sort, can even be edible table decorations.

Matt has also taken on the role as Central Coast Rep calling on customers in that region and North to Nelson Bay and Tea Gardens once a month

Owen Townshend:

Owen is storeman at Head Office.Known around the warehouse as "horse" or Big O" .A music buff from way back he likes his music loud and heavy.Like the boss he has a penchant for chillies.

Stephen Errol:

Steve is Managing Director and Manager of the Mayfield Branch which is also Head Office for Topline Aerials & Cables Pty Ltd. With almost 35 years experience in the TV Antenna Industry, he was also involved in the PAY TV Industry in its infancy in 1995 training installers for the ill-fated GALAXY. Interests include travel, photography, golf , (a few years ago fulfilled a liftime ambition to play at St Andrews) wine and cooking and is mad about chillies. The hotter the better.

Stephen Burns:

"Burnsy" as he is known to all is a Director and the Manager of the Queensland Branch Topline Aerials & Cables Pty Ltd. A background in the TV Repair industry led to 30 years experience in the TV Antenna Industry.Loves spending time on the boat in Moreton Bay and trail bike riding. Formerly from Sydney and Newcastle you couldn't get him to move from Brisbane.

Rhys Burns:

Rhys is the storeman in our Brisbane office, looking after the branches and our sales trucks that run around Queensland and northern NSW. A keen 4X4 enthusiast and avid trail biker rider. His weekends are kept busy with these puruits.

Sue Chandler:

Sue is the Office Manager, Financial Controller & 2IC at our Head Office.. A "Geordie lass" from Newcastle in the North of England she's been at Topline in Newcastle for more than 23 years. "You can take the girl out of England but you can't take England out of the girl".....we have tried! Likes nothing more than a good game of English Soccer, and a good glass of wine!!.

Kerry Burns:

Kerry is the Brisbane office secretary who looks after accounts and general office duties. Loves the State of Origin, barracking for the NSW Blues, which she loves stiring the Queensland suppoters.

Carsten Larsen:

The great Dane! Carsten is the Warehouse Manager at Stafford. Carsten has a great rapport with customers and he goes out of his way to help them out. He loves cooking and is an avid connoisseur of exotic wines.Weekends are spent doing what Vikings do best - mostly pillaging!
