Web Security

Information sent across the Internet may be intercepted. Our security system ensures any personal and confidential information including information about financial transactions submitted to our site is encrypted before being transmitted across the Internet.

Encryption is a means of scrambling information for transmission between your web browser and our system. Information that is encrypted at one end is decrypted (decoded) upon receipt at the other end. The level of encryption is described by the number of 'bits'; the greater the number of 'bits' the stronger the encryption. Some older web browsers use 40 bit encryption or 56 bit encryption. Our site uses 128 bit encryption, which is the highest level of encryption publicly available.
